I got a bag of twelve toy meeces in the mail today. Just chucked them in the air and now there's meeces everywhere. Even Supervisor's been playing with them.
Her brother has a new game where I leave a water bowl in the shower and he goes in there repeatedly to splash the water all over the place then leave trails of wet paw prints all over the floor. A bathmat can only do so much. He loves this game.
Finally got tabby for a claw trim today. She's the most melodramatic of the three. Supervisor doesn't like it but puts up with it, my little boy tries to wriggle free from me but loses. And tabby cries as though her life is ending, and writhes around like she's being tortured. It's terribly cute how much of a dramatic act she puts on.
See what's going on in this place. The inseparable twins.

I have to go into the office today so I'm leaving the kittens with a freshly filled water bowl in the shower. My lad's found a tiny bug to obsess about and his sister's climbing a 2m tall ladder to perve out the window at a bird on the neighbour's roof. It must be Monday.
The babies started their frisky chasing around 5:30am this morning and galloped joyfully around the place until brekky. Wolfed that down and off they went again for another round of chasey, shower water and wrestling. Now they're having a nap in a box. Good start to the day for them. Supervisor took one look and went to Narnia.
The babies spent a large chunk of today up a ladder just perving out a window. Supervisor came over to see what they were doing but got bored and went back to Narnia. Something out there was fascinating to them though.
No you're spending some time folding and cutting and drilling paper to make cat toys.
Her paws are all different colours and patterns
The cat trap is still working
The babies were up around 5am today, and started the day with mad gallops around the place. This lasted around 40 mins. Then a brief rest and they were back at it before brekky arrived. Post brekky it was shower water time, paddling around and wet paws everywhere. My lad managed to nick half of Supervisor's brekky as well.
My Saturday afternoon spent building cardboard cat play houses and rearranging their vast real estate holdings.

WFH means so many levels of management watching my every move
Supervisor was in Narnia but came back this afternoon. Walked in, sniffed Tabby who sniffed her back, no hissing, nothing. Supervisor just walked over to the cat bed and snuggled in. All three in there with me, with no fireworks.

Management are having a hard day
The look I get for stopping patting for a moment. How very dare I.
Supervisor found a lady bug inside and was playing with it, looking very pleased with herself. I rescued the lady bug and took it outside to sit in a pot plant before my little tabby spotted it and ate it.
Hung out with my mate today. Highly recommended.

Lot of hard working managers kept a strict eye on me today
Someone strongly feels he should get more snackies. Apparently his lunchtime snackies were too few in his eyes.
My little boy needed tummy rubs then cuddled into my lap and wouldn't move for more than an hour today. When he's in the mood for it then he's such a cuddly lad. When he's not he still runs off as though everything is scary. Hopefully in a year or two he grows out of it, same for his sister.
Supervisor still chases them around but is slowly toning it down. I keep pointing out to her he's bigger than her now and tabby's catching up on growth spurts.
The plumber is coming today to fix the oven, so I've removed the kitten barrier I had put up to stop them getting underneath it as little babies. Both have already investigated under there thoroughly now, Tabby found some random crumb to eat. Turns out it's not that exciting under there but it's dangerous for little kittens. I think it's safe to go barrier free now.
Everyone had a lazy day today, too warm for scampers.
