As always, the story Minneapolis residents are sharing is different from what ICE claims. ICE agents violently restrained a woman in Minneapolis on Monday, dragging her through the snow and pinning her face down as onlookers shouted that the woman was pregnant. During what was supposed to be a “targeted vehicle stop,” according to ICE officials, protesters swarmed the agents. Esme Murphy, a WCCO reporter, was on the scene, where she saw ICE holding a woman on the ground. “Please let her go! She’s pregnant!” one onlooker shouted. “Get her off of her fucking stomach,” another said.

Were I to do that in public, I’d expect horrific consequences. Feeling safe enough to kill a pre-infant seems like a failure of the system to me.

The reason for them being anti abortion is because they are anti women. They are not “pro life”. Remember this. Them beating the shit out of a pregnant women and forcing women to carry a child are both the same goal.

I’m saying this because it’s important to not waste your time trying to convince a reactionary that there is a contradiction. There is no contradiction. It’s better to point out the truth that these are both awful forms of state violence that serve the same purpose.
