Sim says it would be up to the Whitecaps and their partners to come up with a plan to finance the stadium
Sim says there is no path to keep the whitecaps here without this MOU and a pathway to their own stadium. Adds that there are buyers that want to keep the team here (with a new stadium) and other buyers who want to move the team.
Sim says the stadium will take 4+ years. They’re asking the provincial government to step up and get a better deal with the #whitecaps done for the time between now and then.
