david turgeon@jonny i wish more people using the phrase “attention economy” read iris murdoch's “the sovereignty of good”. attention is one's private inner life. sometimes attention is mediated & transformed into speech or literature but mostly it's meant to remain safeguarded. it's impossible to justify putting a price on private thoughts (even under the guise of “resonant computing” or whatever the hell that is) unless what you promote is a totalitarian state.
