Hypothetical question. If you were to donate to #OpenBSD would you be better to donate directly to the OpenBSD project or to the OpenBSD Foundation ? Or possibly either as it really doesn't matter ?

Wow, I wasn't aware you could donate directly to the project? FWIW openbsd.amsterdam gives to the foundation, but they're a company and not an individual (so they may have legal restrictions on how and to whom they donate).
