In the unlikely event of my American employer inviting me to meet my colleagues in the #USA, I'm looking forward to not being allowed in.

Just to make sure, I'll pin a #FuckTrump post to my timeline.

Joking aside, it's clear that visitors are no longer welcome as far as the #OrangeFascist's regime is concerned. Another example is the national parks charging a large admission fee for foreign nationals. I'm not at all bothered: there are plenty of welcoming, classy and sophisticated places to visit in Europe.
@dave Nothing would persuade me to travel to the US. Not now and I canโ€™t see anytime soon when I would consider it. The damage the orange goblin has done will need reversing first.

@missingbrighton @dave I would never want to live there but like to visit sometime in my life actually. But under the current circumstances I'll skip too. At this point, I'd worry about getting arrested before even entering the country just for speaking out in public and online about the USA's and big tech's issues. Never even mind the state of things passed the border... Not worth it.

If things don't change drastically for the better, I guess I won't see the USA in real life. Too bad, but true

@Cambion @dave I have been there and it was very pleasant and the people were nice.
But Iโ€™ve no desire to go back at the moment.

@missingbrighton @dave
Yeah I never been there, so it's mainly me wanting to see some stuff at least once. But like I said, not in the current situation.

And I'm currently in Vietnam for the third time, so me not wanting to go does say something about the USA. Although in full honesty having in-laws here plays a part in that as well ๐Ÿ˜….

@dave

It's interesting to see the difference between the USA and Japan as far as parks are concerned. In Japan they have raised the entrance fees for foreigners, to cover the cost of removing rubbish strewn everywhere and - really new for them - graffiti...
