Rural communities are banding together to chop firewood so that people in need can heat their homes. This shouldn’t be necessary.

@plotnik I had felt that way and tried for the decade of the 2010s, but boy howdy is trump country exhausting. I do think it's going to take many years of working together and learning from each in order to build trust, but when someone is just a racist asshole as is often the case in my experience in rural America on both coasts, it's pretty exhausting.
