It's quite a while since I last updated you on progress with my latest #crochet project... the bookshelf throw... it's a bit easier to imagine how it will turn out now... I'm planning to do 6 shelves... and there's no need to worry about sewing in the ends... as they will be hidden in the border...🧶

5 shelves completed on my #MosaicCrochet bookshelf throw... it's getting quite big now... and keeps me really warm and cosy as I work on it... it's still really fun to work on... and makes me feel like I'm a dot matrix printer in slow motion... 🧶

I've reached the boring... finish the project stage of my bookshelf throw... tonight I tightened, trimmed and tied all of the ends... along the edges of the throw... now to start work on the double layer border... that will finish the bookshelf... and hide all the ends...

I've made a start on the endless job... of the double layer border... for my #MosaicCrochet bookshelf throw... 2½ circuits complete... 7½ circuits to go... I can't believe how amazing it looks once you start to add the border... I've just spread it out on the floor in front of me... 🧶📚

I now know who to think of... as I finish crocheting the border of this blanket... My neice decided not to have it... as she didn't have anywhere for it... so I offered it to my friend... who was ogling it yesterday... when she came round for me to help her with her tax return... and she wants it...

The double layer border is done... and the #MosaicCrochet bookshelf throw is almost complete... just a few ends to sew in tomorrow... I love how the border finishes it off... 🧶
