Great. A large (by length) broken branch is hanging over the sidewalk, part of the lawn, and part of a flower bed. It's close to a neighbor's car. I'm going to try to pull it down in a bit.

New Green T Lawn Care

@six_grandfathers_mountain It's up too high for me to reach right now, anyway, as it turns out.

My mother had fruit trees in her yard, and had an extension pole with a saw and a branch cutter on the end. That would have been useful here. I shouldn't have left it with the new owners (this is the 2nd time I've lamented this - I should find another).

It's going to have to wait until the storm stops. Neighbor is moving his car from near it. I think it should stay put, if we don't get bigger wind gusts. It's a bit caught in branches.

RE

well that's good, just let it be and maybe (this will cost you) place some orange and white (VLC player 😅) cones under it

I hear you, waiting too long to trim some twig or medium size brances, teaches us a lesson.

@six_grandfathers_mountain There was debate about whether it was the city's problem or not. Until it fell, it was in the center of a tree in a park strip. If it hung over the street, the city would pay to take care of it with a tree service. If it hung over the sidewalk, it would be the owner's problem. It hung over neither until it broke loose, lol.
