@leobm @eunews what actual leftists would demand is immaterial to what these people would say: "radical leftist" isn't a term they use genuinely, but rather as a euphemism for enemies of the state. My point was sinply to highlight the hypocrisy of how the US federal government is somehow good despite it having unilateral power to override state power, meanwhile the EU parliament and associated institutions are bad for state sovereignty evem though the EU can't do shit without state cooperation.
