if you looked into and believed 2020 was stolen and said so, I don't blame you for people acting badly based on those claims. my problem is with those who didn't believe that and said it anyway, for whatever reasons.
apply to all bullshit on all sides. same with platforming people who have gotten attention for the fringe stuff they say and then not challenging them. have anybody on but then try to clarify facts and what views make the most sense. otherwise it's edgelordism.
I think we need better journalism because sometimes they get stuff very wrong and people act on that and people die. Iraq War etc. that's why it matters and I know the people who hate the mainstream media understand this.
the problem is they often don't seem to make the distinction between whether the journalists believed what they were reporting, how much effort they put into getting it right or whether regular people or alt media should be held to any such standards. ideology/funny is enough.
