You know how in Deadpool & Wolverine (2024), Deadpool has this line:

"There are 206 bones in the human body. 207 if I'm watching Gossip Girl."

I never really got the joke and assumed that it's because he's into someone on that show.

Well, yes, but it's more than that:

Ryan Reynolds, who plays Deadpool, is married to Blake Lively, who plays main character Serena on Gossip Girl.

There's a very similar joke in the "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" episode "Those Old Scientists" (2x07), when Jack Ransom sees Boimler's poster of Una Chin-Riley and calls her the "hottest first officer in Starfleet history".

Jerry O'Connell, who voices Ransom, is married to Rebecca Romijn, who plays Una.
