A decaying and abandoned care home, somewhere in southern England 👴🧓🏽

This residential care home for elderly people, closed in the early 2000s. Although I can find no definite reason reported, it may be related to new access and bathroom rules forced closure.

The day room downstairs has chairs and walls coated in black mould, with plaster chunks scattered across the floor. Upstairs, small bedrooms sat untouched.
