I used to think that #selfhosting projects were of interest solely within the domain of *nix enthusiasts and hobbyists, but the absolute trash state of the digital world is making these solutions feel increasingly like a necessity - or at least I *imagine* there must be broader appetite from many to want to get away from the flawed, junk-riddled, collapsing web platform enclosures of Big Tech products and services.

@flow Always dabbled or rather self-hosting was always in my periphery. This "AI" bubble of capitalism that we are experiencing right now pushed me over the edge.

My life's purpose is now getting off of these big tech products and telling everyone I know that they should too.
