Humanity died of COVID-19 back in the peak of pandemic. Either that, or I myself died of COVID-19 somewhere in 2020s. But there's a slight caveat: while we're told that death is when the consciousness ceases, there are eight-ish minutes of hallucination after oxygen stopped circulating through my body. Turns out all the years since COVID-19 have been, in fact, those very minutes of brain hallucination. I already died: now I just want my fucking consciousness to cease once and for all.

There's this episode, I guess it was from Scooby-Doo, where Velma enters in a reality simulation studio, and since then, things become strange. She notices, for example, a slight difference in Shaggy's phrasing. After several perceived inconsistencies, she finally shouts out loud something like "I'm inside a simulation and I just found it", then the simulation around her unveils and the guy in charge of the simulation approaches and asks her "how did you find it?".

I'm inside a simulation!
