I'm very much joking when I say this, but I think it would be peak irony if that flowchart were AI generated 😂
"I wanted to argue against AI, but I didn't want to have to take the time to make the chart myself, yknow?"
My personal favorite xkcd flow chart, though: https://xkcd.com/1924
@amin @cmccullough i think that flowchart actually argues _against_ what Randall says in the alt text, though.
"Should I put solar panels on the roof?"
Probably not. There's empty space nearby that doesn't have a house in it, put it there instead.
[I actually think that, where that's an option, it's a very, very reasonable argument, too: it's safer [no rooftop work!], easier, makes maintenance/cleaning _much_ easier, and cheaper [less labor!]]
Sure, if you have empty, unused space near your house. My family doesn't.
... there's an "If" missing before the "There's empty space" 😂
Ahh. XD
This, though, is the most relevant to this post: https://xkcd.com/2267/
Why did I take such a circuitous path? Because I wanted to show off some of my favorite xkcd strips.
cc @rl_dane
I thought you'd like that. Enough to ignore the implication that it takes six drinks for installing FreeBSD to seem like a good idea, ;)
Also, read the title text. 😂
Honestly, Bob's got a lot better UI/UX than most new stuff nowadays. XD
Well, it is called "liquid courage!"
