I saw a new MeidasCanada video with Charlie Angus sitting inside Molly’s Reach and it actually surprised me that the place is still around. I always assumed it had disappeared like most old Canadian TV landmarks. If you watched the video, what did you think of seeing that place still operating in 2025? I don’t personally remember the Beachcombers show but I lived there for a while and let me tell you Gibsons is still very, very proud of the Beachcombers. They just recently took down the Persephone boat from downtown. Mollys Reach has changed hands a few times in the last few years and they’ve done some updating and renovations inside.

So the Persephone still lives? Blown away again. I always preferred Relicks jet-boat that could jump logs.
