@scribblanitea I have a shed at my summer home that has double doors with trim boards in an X shape. The boards are only 5/8 of an inch (15.8mm) thick. On one board there is a tiny forest of 5 or 6 varieties lichen. One of them has little red tips that are really cute. We’ll have to replace the shed soon as it’s been biodegrading for several years. First, I’ll have to figure out how to preserve my little lichen garden without disturbing it too much.
