I haven't gotten a formal GRC letter or any formal reply yet, but the Irish MyWelfare website is updated with MY NAME! :-)
I think it will take a bit to actually understand.
The official certificate came by registered post now 🎉. Even with alexithymia, I can confidently say I have many positive emotions :-).
This morning I was looking into the process of getting an Irish drivers license (I have an EU one so there has been no need before), and that online process showed more of my Public Service Card information which MyWelfare website did not, specifically gender. Reading that also resulted in many emotions. Seeing it written down officially makes it all feel more real.
