CarePro to Pay $1.3 Million to Settle Class Action Data Breach Lawsuit
The Iowa-based healthcare company, CarePro Health Services, has agreed to pay $1.3 million to settle class action litigation stemming from a November 2023 CarePro Health Services has agreed to pay $1.3 million to settle a class action lawsuit stemming from a 2023 cyberattack and data breach that affected more than 151,000 individuals. The settlement provides cash benefits and credit monitoring, and identity theft protection services.
