I don't mind integrated online functions, when I can change the endpoints to my own servers or 3rd party services.
What I hate are functions tied to a service that WILL be gone long before the device gets EOL. Like "spotify integration" on YAMAHA Amps, that stopped working when Spotify switched off the old API endpoint.
