@exocomics Actually kitty just wants you to leave the door open so that egress and entry can be performed at kitty's will. Kitties always wonder, "Why are there doors?"

I once helped a friend build a gate to keep his golden lab in the backyard. The dog was very enthusiastic about the project, two friends working together, happy, happy, happy! Then she figured out the purpose of the gate. We hadn't even finished it yet. No more happy, happy, happy.
