It takes 5 blue Jay's and a handful of smaller birds only a few hours to eat 4 cups of bird seed and a small pile of assorted nuts.

That’s a weird looking blue jay, never seen one with a black upper half. Is it a different variety or just a melanism pattern?

Definitely a Stellar's. And they definitely love emptying bird feeders. Typically looking for something they like that's not even in the feeder, seemingly. :/
