I do not think it is accurate to say that democracy is being eroded all around the world. Erosion happens naturally. Democracy is being sabotaged and attacked all around the world. Don't apologize for the people actively doing that.

@JeremyMallin I don't know where you live but in America it's been happening over the course of 5 decades.

and again, whether it's passive or not is not the point. when people talk about the erosion of democracy, no one thinks they are talking about it being done by the wind. there's no confusion here.
