Got bored, decided to do one of these. Here's my ACTUAL EDC (everyday carry for those not familiar with the acronym). Detailed description in the alt-text, plus my thoughts on some of the items here.

The flash drive with TAILS is because sometimes I use other peoples' computers and I don't want to leave my digital garbage laying around.

I'm not a giant fan of the pocket organizer but haven't found anything better. It lets the notebook get really beat up.

I'm also not a giant fan of the actual Field Notes. The covers get REALLY whanged up and I don't like the paper that much. But I have a few to go through so I'm sticking with them for now.

The nail clippers and file are new, but I really like them. The action on the clippers is very solid and they're sharp as hell. The streamlight has been with me for years and it's excellent for walking at night and peering into dark cabinets or computer cases.

The knife is also relatively new. I had to retire my Opinel No 5 when I moved to the UK earlier this year because it has a locking blade. The Victorinox Waiter SAK is perfect. One layer, blade and screwdriver/bottle opener, corkscrew on the back. Someone put me on to those keysmart pocket clips and they're an excellent stand-in for a deep-pocket knife clip.

The wallet is also a recent change; There are £1 and £2 coins here (not notes) and my pocket was filling up.

Pocket handkerchief and black comb are things I consider staples. Have carried these types of items for decades.

And the shopping bag is just a shopping bag. This one in particular came from a shop in an airport a month ago, but it holds no special attachment. When it wears out I have a big stack of similar bags from the local grocery store.

And that's it! Comments/questions/suggestions welcome. Or do your own version, it'd be fun to see!
