@augieray they can do and say whatever they want, the problem is most of media - traditional/corporate, social and new all downplays and normalises it, thus "normies" are completely oblivious to all of this. This isn't unique to US, this is the norm everywhere for right wingers they are always given the benefit of doubt and the most leeway possible.
