When Republicans in their 30s get caught supporting Hitler in a group chat, conservatives call them “kids.”

When underage girls get sexually abused by Trump's friends (and probably Trump), conservatives call them “young women.”

The language tells you everything you need to know about GOP morality and family values.

@augieray While I agree with you that the description of each group is reprehensible, I find the hasty generalization at the end to be one that will lock people into their political identities. The response will be “How dare you say that about me!” rather than a personal morally reflective response.
@augieray I get that calling it out feels good. I am just careful about how language lands. If we want people to examine their own choices, painting the whole group with a single brush usually shuts that down. That is my only point.
@lancehomer If you think MAGA people follow me and will be informed by what I post, I think you're wrong. I post to like-minded people, and I hope they stay enraged, engaged and eager to vote.

@augieray @lancehomer

Self-confessed cheerleader here. I agree completely.

Keeping an ally standing and engaged is a crucial and worthy task.

@lancehomer sometimes one of the sides really is horrible, and wrong, and beyond redemption, Lance.

Stop enabling them.
@augieray

@Tattie @lancehomer @augieray nah both sides suck, Bill Clinton and other dems are somewhere there, and Harvey Weinstein was a huge democrat protected by Hillary and fam.

George Stephanopolous was reported to be on Epstein parties so i suspect that the truth will not come out as many expect it.

But the republicans have completely destroyed their chaste and puritan reputation by defending Donald Trump, so it does look worse than what Democrats have done.
