@ddosecrets Looks like the torrent isn't currently being seeded?

Edit: it is currently being seeded

@ddosecrets Has this, I hope, been redacted so that it doesn’t contain CSAM?
@adamgreenfield
that is a Very Good Question, seconded.
@ddosecrets
@adamgreenfield @ddosecrets it is public data, never contained any CSAM
@frelsisbaratta @ddosecrets It might be worth making that explicit, along with its provenance.
@adamgreenfield @ddosecrets well if it would contain CSAM it would not be published (that would be illegal) and it would be also marked. It also says: "court documents, releases from the Department of Justice and Congress" - no court or the DOJ would publish CSAM. So zero indication the files would contain CSAM, not sure how someone would assume it.
@frelsisbaratta @ddosecrets It says “including” those things, which doesn’t preclude other contents. With respect: please try to imagine someone other than yourself reading this, and how they might interpret what they’ve been offered, and how important the question might be to them.
@adamgreenfield @ddosecrets i will let that to someone else who can do that better then me :)

@frelsisbaratta @adamgreenfield @ddosecrets
Except for the account publishing the original post being called "Distributed Denial of Secrets" and describing itself as a "Journalism nonprofit and decentralized document leaking collective."

It seems reasonable to think a "leak" is not an official publication of a court system. Official court releases yes I'd expect to have diligent redaction to protect victim privacy and remove CSAM, but leaks not necessarily. So, a reasonable thing to check.

@frelsisbaratta @adamgreenfield @ddosecrets so is this only a collection of previously released data, not a new leak?
@ddosecrets this is a big deal i figure..? lol
@ddosecrets https://jmail.world/ is also an ingenious means of publishing his jeevacation account with a bizarrely familiar interface.
