And by way Wikipedia states KDE is from 1996 and XFCE from 1997... 😏

I remember using KDE-2.x on Slackware-8 and Gnome-1.4 was on it, I dont remember xfce being on Slackware-8 but I remember it a few versions later, so KDE is only a year older than xfce.
