@daringfireball I bought the Air after always buying the Pro Max in previous years, and I love it. I bought it knowing its limitations. I can’t believe how heavy the Pro Max is when someone hands me theirs to show me something. Air feels just right in my hands. I hope Apple sticks with it, makes improvements, and actually market it.
Perhaps Apple hasn’t done a good job marketing pointing out the differences between the models. I guess lot of people assume that the models are mostly similar.
@daringfireball ‘It _is_ Apple’s thinnest smartphone yet. You can measure it.’
Its thinnest part is the thinnest part of any iPhone yet.
iPhone Air: 11.32mm inc camera bump.
iPhone mini: 9.32mm inc camera bump
‘In fact, if you don't include the original iPhone and iPhone 3G, then there isn't a single iPhone that jumps over the 10mm line until you reach the iPhone 12 Pro Max.’

Hanging onto the 13 Mini.
@daringfireball Re that last sentence: What *is* it with this new trend in reporting? Just recently The Guardian referred to the USS Gerald R Ford as being "regarded as the world’s newest and largest aircraft carrier".
"Regarded"?! These are eminently checkable facts! (newest: false; largest: true)
