Avid AmoebaThis is the risk I see when people say we should increase our (Canada’s) reliance on the EU. Yes we should increase cooperation but as things stand, the US is EU’s future and we know all about the US present. As the author says, the EU has to start faithfully addressing people’s material concerns (as should we), but that’s not happening under the current neoliberal regimes. I don’t expect significant shift in direction until that’s defeated.
