IAYSCO number 221 from our buddy @realNowhereMan

in 2015 Radiohead wrote Spectre to be the title theme for the James Bond film of the same name. The producers ultimately rejected it ("too dark" / "politics" / "arrived too late") but clearly, they were wrong.

(Also, Radiohead originally submitted "Man of War" to be the title theme, but that was rejected cause it wouldn't qualify for an "original song" Oscar.)

@dj @realNowhereMan I love Thom's vocals. I have no complaints, but my taste in music is maybe not as sophisticated. This kinda reminds of of A Moon Shaped Pool stuff.

@brendonakay @dj was that era. quote wikipedia: "Radiohead's producer, Nigel Godrich, said the experience was a "real waste of energy" that disrupted work on A Moon Shaped Pool."

@Drucifer_ I'd say this isn't in my list of top radiohead songs, but I don't dislike it either :) (i do hear your points about the recording, though)

But let me say on the record, I think this would have been a better choice than the ultimate choice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jzDnsjYv9A
