@brucelawson Years ago, someone said to Elon in a post that he could solve world hunger for about $6 billion. He said, Sure. Then he asked them for open-source bookkeeping. He got crickets in response.

This is because he, more than most, knows that the VAST majority of the money will NEVER be used to feed the hungry. Corruption on the African continent is rampant.

Do you actually mean US personal tax reporting and filing apps? I gather that those are rather short in supply.

@[email protected] What Elon was asking for is bookkeeping to be viewable by ANYONE. Not an open source app. He wants them to be completely transparent because if they are not, the money disappears, and no one gets fed.
