@catalyst With that awesome banding on the tail feathers and white fringe, I think it’s an immature Cooper’s Hawk! What a beauty! Great shot.

@catalyst definitely looks like some Cooper's hawks I've seen. Hard to tell scale for certain, it also looks like a juvenile sharp-shinned hawk. Sharp-shinned is smaller than cooper's.

@catalyst I'm pretty sure that's a Sharp-Shinned Hawk due to the head feathers and the banding on the tail
