@ionlytweetcrap @itsfoss Depends on what you play really. The games I play either perform the same or crash more on Windows than Linux (Oblivion Remastered for example).

I find proton or lutris/runners on steam deck give me a lot of choice. If a game doesn’t run on Linux/steamos I just don’t buy it

@_XCM @ionlytweetcrap @itsfoss I only use Linux, both a desktop (Manjaro) and Steam Deck. I technically still have an old Windows drive I need to ceremonial overwrite. Just haven't gotten to it yet. I used that in the past for the few games that didn't work yet (or actually, the games did but mods didn't). But I got them working months ago.

Outside of certain anti-cheat in games I don't play anyways, I don't really encounter much issues anymore. Even if not supported it tends to work anyways.

@Cambion @itsfoss I'm getting really inconsistent results. Some games run at the "I can't believe it's not Windows!" level, others crash and require a system restart during loading screens and/or don't run as well.
