Is 52 (a year from now) too old to start a Master’s Degree that will take three years to finish?

In case this isn’t obvious I am totally fishing for encouragement and inspiration, so if you actually think it is, I invite you not to tell me.

Alternatively, if you have some awesome friend or relative or neighbor who got their MA in their fifties or beyond, fee free to drape that story all over me.

(Bonus points if that person is sassy and neurodivergent).

@hollie I did an MA years back and became good friends with an ex-press photographer on the course, Pete. He was a trade union man, a gent and a pensioner - he went on to work as a lecturer in the department and get a doctorate.. time well spent, for sure.
