@tomayac New to the subject, I'm confused why a payment provider is required. Isn't there already Google Pay integration in the browser? Why isn't that being used?

@individual8 I think this could eventually happen with the native implementation, if they implement Open Payments: https://openpayments.dev/. But I'm not an expert. @ioana definitely knows more.
