I have had smartglasses before, so am familiar with imperfections. after 3 days of using these glasses, they are one frustration after another. today for example, out on a local street, I asked Ally to describe what was in front of me: there was a shutter sound then silence for 10 seconds, then 2 more shutter sounds but no description. The same happened at home on oodgo wifi. The volume of the Ally voice is very low and is inaudible if traffic passes. (2/4)
The touhchpad is so fiddly and hit and miss that I still cannot work out how to reliably activate Walkie-talkie - the touchpad on Meta glasses is s omch uh easier!
And of course, it is not hands-free if I have to get my phone out if I want to use walkie talkie and do not want to have Ally on all the time bothering me with suggestions that I ask her about the weather or what colour something is.
Unless there is a lot of updates and a clear roadmap, few will want to keep the glasses! (3/4)
