Anyone ever use #Yammi ?

It is (was) a kde app for controlling playlists in an player, such as xmms (or gstreamer, etc). Kinda wish some of it's paradigms would have been adopted more broadly.

Fuzzy search, dynamic playlists, 2nd output (for previewing), categories (tagging), good queuing options.

And all simple and clean.

Simularly, I miss whatever podcast program I had on the blackberry.

The killer feature - also - a smart queue. It supported auto-sorting with configurable priorities and configurable number of episodes.

So could sync a single episode of a daily news show with a high priority, and every morning the queue would start with just that one days news. Multi-parts could be kept together. Rest interleaved by rank.

All with a couple simple settings.
