"All of these candidates who won last night didn’t shy away from talking about gender equality and LGBTQ rights. They didn’t buy the theory that doing so would alienate young men. And they were right. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, Mr. Carville."

What Young Men Problem?

Based on what I have seen from a few exit polls it did alienate white young men (Mamdani got 50% of all men, but something like 38% of men 18-30) Which is not necessarily a bad thing considering that women are a minor majority and whites, as a whole, are rapidly becoming a minor majority as well.
@charlotteclymer I am glad to see it. Honestly I’ve seen plenty of the negative. It was great that such a positive non toxic compassionate man (and so many women seeking leadership roles) was so exciting to young men. The whole election gives me so much hope. Everyone can see the community coming together for each other without prejudice. It’s beautiful.
@charlotteclymer carville, like the other old fucking men, needs to retire. Do some fishing.

Throwing LGBT people under the bus was both evil and ineffective with the original Nazis. It is no different this time. Thank God some people learned those lessons from history.

As the protest chant goes: "When [fill in anyone's] rights are under attack, what do we do? Stand up fight back!"

@charlotteclymer they're no people in america old enough to grasp the concept of self fulfilling prophecy

... like a reckless lunatic ... 🥰

sounds to me voters are intelligent
deliver a clear consistent message;
be authentic and you get elected

we clearly need less strategy and obvious compromises to grab power and much
more morality and ethics in politics to safe our #Democracy s

my humble takeaway
