@infobeautiful it would be great to find a breakdown of this non voting block - ethnicity, household incomes, education level etc etc to better analyse why this is the case. My uninformed view, majority are comfortably wealthy of a certain ethnicity, they have the privilege to be able to sit out elections as even christo fascist white nationalism comes, they will do just fine, however if say democratic socialist get in power and bring everyone else up, they feel their status goes down.
