Oh no! Walmart, one of the most exploitative companies in North America (an equal opportunity exploiter using both customers and suppliers equally badly) could lose money. They might have to lay off some of their part time work force that has more employees enrolled in federal welfare than any corporation in America!

@mildpeach
It's a mess.
There is a collapse on the horizon, I'm just not sure what will give out first, individuals, or corporations and government.

Mess for sure. Here in the US, the current government is holding a competition to see how badly they can rob from the poor and give to the rich. This traditionally results in many pitchforks and angry mobs but we will see. The #HairFuror doesn't seem the type to pay much attention to history, only what he can see in the mirror.

I am guessing you haven't had the pleasure of watching Canadian tv or opening a news outlet web page, we can't avoid Trump news no matter what.

@SnowyCA @GhostOnTheHalfShell
So sorry. I only watch tv news (or drug commercials) after a few bourbons while huddled in a motel room far from my home.

@mildpeach @GhostOnTheHalfShell
No need to apologise, really. It's typical of folk south of our border.

I rarely see a tv screen now, I don't even own one (donated ours) but every darned day it's another series of Trump-caused crises on our front news--pretty at this point I'm sure it a worldwide phenomenon.
