@The_Whore_of_Blahbylon Technically, the depicted mushroom is edible in small amounts. The German name "Fliegenpilz" hints at its intoxicating effects: it gives you the feeling you are flying iirc what I learned in school. Still *not* recommended.

@marco_m_aus_f @The_Whore_of_Blahbylon The Siberian variety of the Fliegenpilz is a lot less poisonous than the German one. And it has nice intoxicating feature.
We got a lot of "repatriated" Russians descendant from German some centuries ago after the collapse of the USSR. There were deadly misunderstandings of the fungal kind....
