The autism strikes again...
A friend of mine got me intrigued by emergency alert sirens. Found one that's been out of service for quite some time, and I contacted the fire department it belongs to. Long story short, I was told "If you want it, come take it down."

So, uh, I'm now the proud owner of a Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1003. I just gotta figure out how to dismount it from the top of a 30' pole.

Only caveat is I have to be careful not to damage any of the other equipment on the pole.

@qualia Blower's seized, unfortunately, but I have an idea how to get it broken free. Just have no idea how I'm gonna get the head down lmao

@qualia More than likely, yeah. Trouble is most cherry pickers have a weight limit of about 500 pounds, and the head weighs more than 300, and I'm 200 lol
