I try hard to adjust to the #AirPodsPro3 tips, but I don't feel as comfortable as I did with the Pro2, regardless.
I already use different-sized tips on each ear, and it still irritates my ear for some reason. Keep switching between M and S size.
@krzyzanowskim
@atpfm had a discussion of this where they posted a surprising recommendation to switch to a larger size tip than they normally wear, and found it to be an improvement.
@shac @krzyzanowskim Yup. I ended up being much more comfortable with the large tips, surprisingly… but none of them are remotely as comfortable as the AirPods Pro 1 and 2 were with their default (medium?) tips.
@marcoarment @shac my ears hurts with bigger than M tho. This may be a "butterfly keyboard" moment for airpods
@krzyzanowskim @marcoarment @shac Took a while for me to wear them in but now it’s fine.
@krzyzanowskim @marcoarment @shac I’m using L-Size and the 3 are the first to STAY in my ears. The 2 are great too and i would say I feel them way less in my ears - but they tend to fall out when I’m talking (using it as headset) or chewing (listen to podcast while eating)
The 3 are much better in these cases for me. Will see if this still is true after a few months

@krzyzanowskim @marcoarment @shac This could be true as AirPods Pro 3 for me are super comfortable. Like I forget they are even there comfortable.

And I still have a 2016 MacBook with a butterfly keyboard that works perfectly.

@krzyzanowskim I was having comfort issues, too. For me, twisting the AirPods in my ear so that the “stem” points almost straight down made a big difference. I never wore the others that way.
@krzyzanowskim I thought I was the only one! My Pro 1 were waaaay more comfortable and compatible with my ears.
