@irgendwienet @royaards @levampyre yeah, at first i though they needed cross belt drives, but you do want the two wheels to go in the same direction, you just don't want them connected, i think the downward one is just drawn too far to the right, creating confusion.

Good drawing though.

The other way around I think: wheels are connected and go in opposite directions. But the biggest one is not connected to the conveyor belt.

I really don't get it.
Unicycle wheels go cw, the big shaft underneath goes ccw. As the unicycle wheels are connected to the thin shaft, that one goes cw. Cogs go in the direction of their respective shaft (opposite directions) and are connected. Small cog goes cw so the conveyor belt goes up.

I don't see where a cross belt drive is needed here, all the directions add up.

Oh well, I'm relieved I was not having a stroke then 😅. It was either that, or I would have humbly asked you to explain the reasoning there, because I was afraid I was just being stupid and doubling down.
