@erik yeah I noticed a lot of cool and innovative looking street art, but what’s really striking to me is I don’t usually even like bubble-letter styles very much, but now I’ve seen a couple examples where someone seems to have tried just a little harder and made them way more interesting-looking than usual, and they’re both from Philadelphia. Not really enough to call a trend, but also notably similar and unlike anything I’ve seen in other cities. Here in Chicago there are zillions of low-effort, zero-originality throwies all over the place and I wish those people would spend their time coming up with a more creative handstyle tags instead.
