It seems to be pretty 1:1 with Affinity V2 feature-wise, but with optional paid AI features. They also seem to have gotten Pantone swatches, but somewhat bewilderingly it doesn't have a proper light mode. Variable fonts seem to work properly but more testing is probably needed.

@valerymarier They added variable fonts in the 2.x releases. Pantone also isn't new!

@hank I knew about the variable font support in V2 but not about Pantone in V2. Still it's hard to tell how much they changed under the hood considering features that existed before (like light mode) seem to be missing now.
