Bjomdalskollen: This #hillfort was constructed on a remote plateau in Telemark, #Norway. It has an inner 30m stone wall along a cliff with large stones at a possible gate, and a fragmented outer wall 80m to the SW. Other features include a bog, a stone structure for projectiles and a ravine with a cairn. It is reachable by a steep ravine path or 2km unmarked hike from the NE and offers superb views and ambience amid nearby barrow cemeteries and rock art. 📷 kenntha88 More:
"Bjørndalskollen" ("Bear valley hill"), probably

Side comment: "ø" in Norwegian is pronounced as the "u" in the English word "burn" (so "Biurndalskollen")
(while "o" in Norwegian is by default pronounced as Spanish "u" (and sometimes as Spanish "o", but strictly speaking we have "å" for that sound. The "o" in "kollen" would have been like a Spanish "o")
@steinarb OK that was an error by our native Norwegian speaking site submitter, apologies.
