This happens whenever my instance starts lagging in some way, at which point I just log into it and do nixos-rebuild switch --upgrade-all && reboot and then wait to see what it does. Gotta love never breaking it no matter how long it's been since the last update, but at the expense of never updating it in the event that that could possibly result in literally anything being broken at any point.

Balanced, as all things should be.
